Special Agent Scott Henry
Scott Henry is a Special Agent with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and a 15-year veteran within the commercial vehicle industry. FMCSA is an agency within the United States Department of Transportation that regulates the trucking industry within the United States. The primary mission of the FMCSA is to reduce crashes, injuries and fatalities involving large trucks and buses.
Prior to beginning his career within federal government, Scott was a Sergeant with the Florida Highway Patrol from 2003 – 2015, where he conducted traffic enforcement and commercial vehicle inspections to verify carrier compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and applicable Florida State Statutes.
Throughout his career, Scott has received many awards and has served in many roles such as a field training officer, FMCSA instructor, hazardous material specialist and has completed over 700 compliance investigations, 1500 new entrant safety audits and 3000 hours of industry outreach while earning his A.A. Degree in Criminal Justice in 2010.
Prior to Scott’s law enforcement career, he served from 1998-2002 active duty in the United States Air Force at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany.
