Vistage Chair Steve Collar is the former Senior Vice President and General Manager of Crowley Logistics, a one billion dollar per year entity primarily focused on Supply Chain Logistics in the US, Central America, and the Caribbean. Steve, a transformative leader, is on life-long mission to continuous improvement, not only financial metrics but also the quality and variety of services offered to customers. He doesn't just ask why; He also asks why not? In the early 2000’s led Crowley’s development of Articulated Tug Barges: a unique solution for our Crowley's Major customers (Shell, BP, Conoco Phillips, Marathon and Chevron) providing a lower cost per unit delivery system. This innovation led Crowley to become the largest provider of water borne domestic oil ocean transportation in the US. Steve earned his Executive MBA from the University of Washington: Kellogg School of Management Executive Program 2020 MIT Certificate: Leading From the Emerging Future. In March 2021 Steve received his certification from THE JOHN MAXWELL TEAM as Coach, Teacher, Trainer and Speaker.
